The Ministry of Industry prepared a draft decree to treat the issue of surplus labor, and also the patient labor that are burden on production costs which estimated around 6467 workers, this draft decree will provide incentives for workers over 50 years old,   and serve more than 30 years, to encourage them to submit their resignation in voluntary.

In statement for the reporters from the minister of industry Mr. Fouad Issa Joni about the draft decree said "The draft decree prepared by the ministry provides a lot of benefits to the workers who are aged over fifty and wish to retire early, explaining that this project will be discussed with the Federation of trade unions before taking his way informal to published, and the rise in the value of production since last year and so far despite the drop in the number of workers indicates the right direction the ministry to address the issue of surplus labor which do not affect the increase in production costs alone, but on the performance of the companies themselves with the knowledge that the government's decision to address the subject of such employment gives the ministry within three years to complete".

The project aims to attract new employment modern age, and lower wages in order to improve the product in low cost to allow competing with similar products which produced by the private sector or imported from other countries, and include incentives and advantages that will benefit workers who want to quit first grant three months salary for each year of the remaining period to reach retirement age according to the maximum ceiling category, and bear the relevant costs of treatment to the worker until the age of retirement.
